Area Sales Manager
Select Security currently has an opening in our elite Sales Force for an Area Sales Manager. This is a long-term career opportunity managing and recruiting an outside sales team and activities in the Lancaster, PA Regional Market with future growth opportunities.

A typical day consists of:
- Implementing the company’s strategic sales plans to accomplish corporate goals.
- Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly.
- Accomplishing regional sales human resources objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, coaching and disciplining employees in assigned territories. In addition, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions are key responsibilities of this position.
- Planning and reviewing compensation actions, pricing guidelines and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Expanding market share via new business development and customer care programs.
- Meeting with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing new business.
- Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, identifying new customer opportunities.
- Assisting the Operations and Administration departments with project organization and client expectations.
What you bring to us:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of outside sales management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with key products including, CCTV, Access Control, Security and Fire Systems is helpful.
- Proven team management background with emphasis on market strategies and growth.
- Demonstrated knowledge of solutions / consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
