Equipment Inventory and Logistics Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities: Manage equipment inventory and related logistics and processes for all Hoober locations. Lead sales forecasting efforts and ordering process to ensure adequate stocking levels throughout the year for each location. Be the point of contact for inventory requests from salesmen. Ensure adequate processes and procedures are in place to track physical inventory from the plant through final delivery to customers, including tracking inventory movement between Hoober locations. Make sure proper practices are in place to track payment for inventory. Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and ensure Hoober is taking advantage of applicable sales programs, discounts, floorplan terms, and marketing opportunities as it relates to inventory.

Job Requirements: Applicant should possess strong administrative, organizational, and computer skills (specifically Excel). Candidate should be a strong multitasker, a team player, detail oriented, and committed to excellent customer service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. High school diploma required, with college or technical training preferred. Candidate should have knowledge or experience related to production agricultural equipment.
