Job Description

The Gallery Manager role is a full-time, hourly position, with flexibility to work both daytime and evening hours as needed. This position involves establishing community connections to support outside exhibitions, build partnerships, and create new opportunities for Artists. Responsibilities include oversight of the gallery team; including evening class instruction and First Friday events. The Gallery Manager should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of two years’ experience producing and marketing works of art and related product lines. Knowledge of current and changing art trends required. The Gallery Manager must be a mature professional who is capable of providing leadership to Team Members and to Artists. The Gallery Manager shall organize time and events related to managing the business while networking with the local art and business community. Experience with ID and/or Autism population preferred. Familiarity with a day program setting a plus. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
