Job Description:
The IT System Administrator is responsible for daily management of the
corporate IT infrastructure to assure reliable and secure operations for the
entire staff. This position will also help plan and deploy new IT projects to
help further the goals of a growing and dynamic organization. This
position reports to the Director of IT.

Essential Job Functions:

 Lead projects that will deploy new or enhance existing IT systems
 Manage the servers, storage, and network switches that comprise the
backbone of the corporate IT infrastructure
 Oversee security of the network, including management of credentials,
accounts, permissions, and access rules
 Monitor systems that provide software updates, malware protection,
and system configuration changes
 Monitor network performance and WAN connections
 Assure that all corporate data is backed up and that recovery protocols
are in place
 Work with the IT Team to provide end user support for corporate
computers, software, audio visual equipment, and peripherals
 Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
 Provide end user training for systems, procedures, and policies
 Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software in use in the facility
 Provide support and troubleshooting for AV needs related to events in the facility as needed
 Assist the Director in planning and managing budgetary goals for IT projects
 All Other Duties as Assigned

Basic Qualifications:

 Must be 18 years of age or older
 Must have dependable transportation to and from work
 Must have valid Driver’s License
 Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
 Minimum of 5 years working in a similar IT role
 Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Windows Servers
 Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMWare)
 Experience with storage technologies (NAS and SAN)
 Experience planning and managing Active Directory environments
 Experience managing Microsoft Exchange
 Understanding of network security tools and best practices
 Experience with LAN and WAN infrastructures

Preferred Qualifications:

 A positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees
 Ability to safeguard confidential information
 Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills
 Ability to work with minimal supervision
 Capability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
 Ability to handle tense or stressful situations
 Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting IT problems
 Experience planning and managing significant IT projects
 Administrative experience with Cisco networking equipment and firewalls
 Strong Microsoft Office skills
 Experience with Telecom and Internet service providers
 Some Microsoft SQL Server administration experience

Working Conditions:

 Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
 Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, reaching, and
typing on a computer for long periods of time
 Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
