Sales Trainer


Job Description

Select Security currently has an opening in our elite Sales Force for an Industry Sales Trainer. This is a long-term career opportunity for training and coaching our Area Sales Managers and our Outside Sales Team in our rapidly growing Regional Markets.

This is an amazing opportunity for an Industry Sales Trainer to join a reputable and growing electronic security company, focused on evolving technology and expanding our market share.

A typical day consists of:

  • Coaching our sales force in line with the company strategy to upskill new and existing employees on sales and soft skills, while ensuring efforts contribute towards business growth and profitability.
  • Partnering with Director of Sales to identify training needs and designing a skill-based sales training curriculum for new hires and the ongoing development of existing team members.
  • Implementing and executing Sales trainings, remotely or in regional offices.
  • Creating and revising learning assessments for measuring comprehension.
  • Develop and deliver training and support materials/handouts for training conducted.
  • Working with Sales Managers on how to effectively train and coach a sales team.
  • Working with outside sales reps to build effective communication and consultative selling skills.


What you bring to us:

  • Electronic Security Industry experience and knowledge of key products, required.
  • Ability to frequently travel to all our regional offices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Coordination and organizational skills to ensure all training rooms, equipment and other requirements are reserved and/or cancelled based on training needs.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
