Here’s What Mentoring Program Participants Had to Say About the Program:
“Getting to know and build a relationship with my mentees has been a very rewarding experience, and through this I have gained a true appreciation of the challenges and opportunities that are available to present-day students. By building a one-on-one relationship, it allows them to personallyexperience our day-to-day activities. This is a win-win for all.” – Bonnie Oberholtzer, Practice Administrator, Dermatology Associates of Lancaster
“I would definitely recommend this to other girls. I think the experience itself is one youmight never get again, and will benefit you so much in the future. And it’s fun, so you get to enjoy yourself at the same time.” – Alexa Bennetch, Cocalico High School, 2015/2016 Mentoring Program Participant
“The students at Lancaster Catholic High School absolutely loved this program. They gained confidence from every experience and totally enjoyed bonding with their mentors. The job shadowing experiences were helpful and insightful. We really look forward to participating next year.” – Leslie Laird, English Department, Lancaster Catholic High School
